My massage therapist was Rebecca and she gave me a wonderful and relaxing Swedish massage, with aromatherapy and hot stones. We spent a lot of time just hanging around that area. They provided cold fruit infused water, bottled water, hot tea and some snack mixes. There were comfortable chairs with ottomans and we enjoyed just relaxing. That area had a fabulous waterfall hot tub, as well as a dry sauna and steam room, all of which we enjoyed.
We were greeted warmly at the front desk and taken back to the women's lounge. The first day, we each booked the Tranquility package, which included a 50 minute aromastone massage, a 50 minute facial, and a classic mani and pedi, for a three hour visit. My friend and I did a girl's trip to Destin and stayed at the Hilton Resort. Clients come to relax & be pampered - especially those from out of town. Management: if you push this kind of behavior on your staff, you are at fault. I can say that Mara who works taking care of you in the facility is very kind. If you decide to come here (and it’s not cheap) I would make it clear that you don’t want this type of behavior. But you are getting an honest review to warn others. So congratulations, you ruined my morning & you didn’t get your money. Well, I couldn’t take it & I got up from the table. I was not expecting this & kept telling her that I came to relax & I had already spoken to the staff & chose my facial. This is a very low class technique to get more money from the client. The lady assigned to me starts asking me questions about past procedures & starts criticizing them & starts pushing their procedures & “upgrade me”. I filled out my paperwork & went to get my facial. The facility is amazing & my contact with the staff before I arrived was wonderful.
